Chemex Hand Blown Glass Water Kettle, 2 Quart

Love This Water Kettle
This is a very nice water kettle and looks very nice on the stove with the Chemex coffee pot. It works like one would expect any water kettle to work, in other words, it gets hot and you don't want to be grabbing it with bare hands. I use rubber-lined hot pads when I lift it from the stove to pour the hot water into the Chemex coffee pot, just like I did with my stainless steel water kettle. I've read in other reviews of this product that people are trying to lift it with their bare hands, not a good idea at all when you're dealing with a half gallon of boiling water. Glass gets hot. It's a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get rid of plastic and stainless steel that leaks around the pour spout.

Great!
I've been searching for a long time for a quality glass kettle. The Chemex kettle functions really well, heating water quickly by exposing a large surface area to the heat so that it doesn't need to diffuse too long. It also pours really well. It sounds obvious, but I've bought expensive kettles and pots with faulty spouts, and cost is no guarantee of functionality.

On top of being really functional, it looks awesome and is a real attention-grabber.

simply beautiful stove-top kettle. everyone comments...
