One of my favorite pieces
The 5.5 qt. size is just right for a medium chicken or roast. It's one of my most used pieces. Soups and stews stay hot for a log time so there's less worry about having to keep on low heat or reheating.
Kudos to LC for making the black onyx version more available than before, and with the stainless steel knob it makes a more bold statement from the stove to the table. The interior is beige and easily cleans with a sponge, which is recommended to use throughout. Simple and beautiful to serve from.
Solid, great product!
This is the first step in our changing over to this line of cookware. We cook every day and thought we deserved the best - and this is the best. Nice, even cooking heat, attractive, and easy easy to clean up! We look forward to replacing other older pots with more of this line soon!

this item is superb. heats up quickly and retains heat for even cooking. great for browning meats, making soups, and specialty dishes like paella and japanese hot pots. i would recommend this product to experienced and beginner cookers. love the black onyx color. this is an excellent piece for any kitchen.
