Not fine enough
This item is sturdy and does well straining large pieces. When making stock i have to line it with cheese cloth to keep the smaller stuff out. The holes are too big. Not what i needed.
That is one big strainer
I'm very happy with the china Cap strainer, But it's a big puppy. I use it with my 20 quart pot, and for that it works great, but I wish I had purchased a smaller one. Maybe an 8 in. but for the money and making broth it works great for what I'm using it for. but do keep in mind that thing is big......
Just what it says
It is really big. Bigger than I thought - it would have been nice if the full dimensions were listed (handle length, depth of strainer cone etc.)
Other than that, fast turnaround, well made, and exactly what it says.
